Debbie was born and raised in Worcester, MA and has been singing and dancing as long as she can remember. As a teen, she was very active with community theatre and danced competitively with JoAnn Warren Studio until she graduated Holy Name High School in 1996.

 She went on to study musical theatre and graduated with a BA in Theatre/Speech from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York.

In 2008, she moved back to Massachusetts and began teaching private vocal lessons to teens and adults.  She has performed and directed in several local productions. Most recently, she acted as Musical Director for The Littler Theatre on Broad Street’s production of Little Shop of Horrors and The Bradley Playhouse’s production of Spamalot, both in Connecticut.

 She has worked with Vanilla Box Production’s Summer Musical Theatre Program for many years as a Music Director, the Rising Star Director, and Downstage Director.  Most recently, she directed the Downstage production of Lion King, Jr. in 2018.

 She recently made a career change to education and is a certified teacher in English and Theatre for middle and high school grades.  She currently lives in Sutton with her husband and two children, ages four and six.
