Described as " a bucolic gay love story in two acts", the play is set in the agrarian heartland of America, during simpler days, long gone by. It spans a several-week period during the summer. The story revolves around Pa trying to make sure his 3 sons are married before he passes away. The 2 oldest boys are engaged to women, but they need to help find a husband for the youngest. The boys employ the assistance of the handsome farm hand. They chat with a host of characters along the way.
