Kallin Johnson is excited to be working with Vanilla Box Productions. He has been Director of Music at Notre Dame Academy since 1989 and is the currently Director of Music/Organist at the First Church of Christ, Lancaster, MA. He has worked at most of the central Massachusetts theater companies including Worcester Foothills Theatre Company, Worcester Forum Theatre, Worcester County Light Opera Company, and Stageloft Theatre Company (Sturbridge, MA). Mr. Johnson served as Executive Director of the New England Theatre Company for eight years. He holds a Master of Music degree from New England Conservatory and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Utah State University. Mr. Johnson has been on the faculty of numerous colleges and universities including Clark University and Harvard University. He was the Founder/Executive Director of the Pakachoag Community Music School in Auburn, MA and Director of Music at the Performing Arts School of Worcester. Mr. Johnson is also a past president of ARTSWorcester, the Massachusetts Music Teachers Association and First Night Worcester. He served on the board of the Hanover Theatre for 13 years as Secretary and Building Committee chairman. He is the recipient of many awards including the 1994 Worcester Telegram & Gazette’s Vision 2000 Cultural Enrichment Award.
